Delight in an onboard dinner as the train gracefully makes its way to Jerez, where we’ll savor an overnight stay, immersed in the charm of this captivating city.
Following the morning meal, we will be transported by coach to the captivating city of Cádiz, renowned by its popular alias “Tacita de Plata,” and celebrated as the oldest city in the Western world. Here, a guided visit will be followed by a period of leisure for you to immerse yourself in the alluring ambiance of Cadiz. Our midday repast will provide nourishment before we embark on our return journey to Jerez in the afternoon. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at your own pace, encompassing leisure time, an evening dining experience, and a restful night’s stay in Jerez.
Following the morning meal, our itinerary includes a visit to a sherry wine cellar, where we’ll have the opportunity to explore the nuances of this fine beverage. Additionally, we’ll be treated to the captivating spectacle of “How the Andalusian Horses Dance,” a renowned equestrian ballet set to the rhythms of Spanish music. A delectable lunch will be served onboard as we make our way to the picturesque town of Ronda. As the day unfolds, we’ll indulge in an evening meal at a local restaurant in Ronda, where we’ll also spend the night, enveloped in the charm of this delightful locale.
Following the morning repast, our exploration will lead us to Ronda, a remarkable town perched atop a plateau carved by the profound Tajo de Ronda, where the Guadalevín River gracefully flows. As we journey, a delightful lunch will be served onboard, coinciding with the train’s arrival in Córdoba. Upon reaching our destination, we will embark on a guided tour, partake in an evening meal, and conclude our day with a tranquil night’s rest within the enchanting ambiance of Córdoba.
Following the morning meal enjoyed aboard the train, our day’s itinerary will commence with a visit to the Mosque-Cathedral. Subsequently, our exploration will encompass a comprehensive tour of what once served as the eminent capital of the emirate and medieval caliphate of Al Andalus. During this period, it burgeoned into the largest, most refined, and opulent city in Western Europe. As the train makes its way to Linares-Baeza station, a delectable lunch will be served onboard. Following this, we’ll embark on a guided tour of Úbeda and Baeza, two cities of great historical significance designated as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. As the afternoon transitions into evening, we shall be en route to Granada, where we will conclude the day with a delightful dinner and spend the night immersed in the splendor of this captivating locale.
Following the morning meal, we will embark on an exploration of Spain’s most frequented monument – an opulent palace complex constructed by the Nazari rulers of the Kingdom of Granada. (Please note that the Alhambra visit’s timing may vary based on factors such as group size, languages, and permissions from palace authorities.) A delectable lunch will follow. As the day progresses, we will extend our tour of Granada during the afternoon. The evening will bring a delightful dinner and a restful night’s stay within the captivating realm of Granada.
Following our final onboard breakfast, we will bid farewell to the train and its dedicated team. Our journey will continue by bus to Málaga, where we will explore the Alcazaba, an ancient palace fortress with roots in the Muslim era. Subsequently, you’ll have leisure time and lunch at your own pace in Málaga.
Our expedition will culminate in the Club Lounge of the Málaga-María Zambrano train station, expected around 5:00 PM. This marks the end of our memorable journey.
